People in Mexico DO NOT celebrate on May 5th. it's an historic day but it has little or non importance in our everyday life, it's more like a Chicano-party (Mexican-American). And contrarious to the popular idea of a mexican party we never use Maracas in our music, or drink margaritas and hang donk Piñatas all around and for god sake! stop saying "Olé" as a mexican phrase, it's a Spanish thing.

Biografías (Biographies) is the name of this book scuplture by the spanish artist Alicia Martín. it's located in Cordoba spain and more than 5000 books were used in it's creation. The sculpture is part of Cosmoarte, an organization that promotes art in Cordoban Spain.

Influenza alert

Due to influenza Mexico has officially stopped any kind of activities, in order to prevent people to be in public places such as offices, schools, sport events, cinemas etc...

So I'm stuck at home for the entire week and I really have no idea of what to do, cause I'm done with school work (finally!). So I might be posting more often cause I haven't been able to do so in the last weeks.
